This is Race Ready Depot's operational website policy draft. Official company registration, street address, telephone and email details must be inserted and the wording reviewed by a qualified Cameroonian legal professional before public launch.
1. Warranty source and duration
Products may carry a manufacturer or supplier warranty. Coverage period, territory and conditions vary by product and will be stated in the quotation or supporting product documentation where available.
Race Ready Depot does not create an additional manufacturer warranty merely by displaying a product. Mandatory legal guarantees and consumer rights remain unaffected.
2. What a product warranty generally covers
A valid warranty generally addresses a verified manufacturing or material defect arising during normal, intended use within the stated warranty period. The manufacturer or supplier may choose repair, replacement, credit or another remedy permitted by the applicable warranty and law.
3. Common exclusions
Unless the applicable warranty states otherwise, coverage may be declined for:
- Normal wear, maintenance items, corrosion, contamination or cosmetic deterioration.
- Incorrect installation, unsuitable tools, missing calibration, poor maintenance or use with incompatible components.
- Accident, abuse, overheating, overloading, water entry, incorrect fuel or electrical faults elsewhere in the vehicle.
- Unauthorized modification, disassembly, removal of serial labels or use outside the manufacturer’s published application.
- Competition, racing or off-road use unless the product is expressly warranted for that purpose.
- Labour, towing, vehicle downtime, consequential damage or diagnostic charges unless expressly covered or legally required.
4. Starting a warranty claim
Stop using a part if continued operation may be unsafe or cause additional damage. Contact Race Ready Depot with:
- Order reference, product part number and date the issue began.
- Vehicle details, mileage and a clear description of symptoms.
- Photos or video, diagnostic results and proof of professional installation where relevant.
- Maintenance records or other information reasonably requested by the manufacturer or supplier.
5. Assessment and transport
A product may need to be returned for testing before the claim is accepted. Race Ready Depot will provide instructions and explain who is responsible for transport or diagnostic costs at each stage, subject to the outcome and applicable law.
Do not dismantle or return the product without authorization if doing so could affect manufacturer assessment.
6. Replacement parts
A repaired or replacement product normally continues for the remaining original warranty period unless the manufacturer, supplier or applicable law provides a longer period.
