This is Race Ready Depot's operational website policy draft. Official company registration, street address, telephone and email details must be inserted and the wording reviewed by a qualified Tennessee legal professional before public launch.
1. Current use of browser storage
The current Race Ready Depot website does not use advertising cookies. It uses browser local storage for functions requested by the visitor. Local storage is similar to a cookie but is managed by the browser and is not automatically sent with every web request.
Hosting infrastructure may use strictly necessary technical cookies or request logs for security, routing and reliable delivery when the website is deployed.
2. Items stored on this device
The current website uses the following local-storage entries:
- race-depot-cart-v2 — remembers products and quantities added to the quote basket.
- race-depot-vehicle — remembers the selected vehicle make, model and year for catalogue filtering.
3. Purpose and duration
These entries support quote preparation and vehicle filtering. They remain on the device until the visitor clears them in the website interface, clears browser data or uses a private-browsing session that removes them automatically.
The stored information is not transmitted to Race Ready Depot merely because it exists in the browser. It may be included if the visitor later sends a quote request through a connected communication channel.
4. Analytics and marketing technologies
The current local version has no advertising, behavioural profiling or third-party analytics cookies. If optional analytics or marketing technologies are introduced, this policy and any required consent controls will be updated before they are activated.
5. How to control storage
Visitors can clear the quote basket and selected vehicle within the website. Browser settings can also inspect, block or delete site data. Blocking storage may prevent the basket or selected vehicle from being remembered between visits.
6. Policy updates
This policy will be updated when new website storage, analytics or consent functions are introduced. Questions can be submitted through the Race Ready Depot contact page.
