1. Contact Race Ready Depot before returning a part
Do not send or deliver a part back without return authorization. Use the contact page with the order reference, reason for return, photos and installation status. Race Ready Depot will confirm the return location and instructions if the item is eligible.
A customer’s mandatory legal rights remain unaffected by this authorization process.
2. Incorrect, damaged or apparently defective items
Report an incorrect item, missing item or visible transit damage promptly, preferably within 48 hours of delivery. Keep all packaging and provide clear photos so the supplier or carrier process can begin.
For a suspected defect, stop using the part where continued use may cause damage or create a safety risk. Race Ready Depot may request diagnostic findings, installation records or manufacturer inspection.
3. Change-of-mind requests
A change-of-mind return may be considered when requested promptly and the part is unused, uninstalled, complete, undamaged and in resalable original packaging. Approval depends on supplier terms and whether the item was specially sourced.
Approved change-of-mind returns may exclude original freight and may be subject to reasonable return freight or supplier restocking costs disclosed before the return is completed.
4. Items with restricted return eligibility
Unless defective or otherwise required by law, the following may not be returnable after order acceptance or installation:
- Special-order, custom, programmed, engraved, modified or made-to-order products.
- Electrical or electronic items that have been connected, programmed or installed.
- Fuel-system parts, fluids, filters, seals or consumables that have been opened, filled, contaminated or used.
- Products damaged by incorrect fitment, unauthorized modification, misuse or improper installation.
- Items missing serial labels, accessories, manuals, packaging or supplied components.
5. Inspection and outcome
Returned parts are inspected before a remedy is finalized. Depending on the circumstances, applicable law and supplier terms, the outcome may be replacement, repair, credit, refund or return of the item where no qualifying issue is found.
Race Ready Depot will explain any material deduction, declined return or further diagnostic step.
6. Refund method and timing
An approved refund is normally made using the original payment method or another agreed method after inspection and completion of any supplier or carrier process. Processing times depend on the payment provider and will be communicated with the decision.
A refund cannot exceed the amount actually paid to Race Ready Depot for the approved item and refundable charges, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
7. Fitment-related returns
If Race Ready Depot expressly confirmed fitment using accurate customer information and the supplied part does not fit, contact Race Ready Depot before installation continues. If vehicle information was incomplete or incorrect, return eligibility and costs may differ.
